Prenatal Music assists primarily mothers during pregnancy. It is a process in which the mother uses music to create a loving bond between mother and baby, while also building a sound foundation for healthy development for parenthood. **

The earlier one is engaged in musical activities, the more benefits the mother and baby will attain. These are cumulative in their effect. The optimum time to begin prenatal music exposure is at the beginning of pregnancy. However, engaging in musical activities during any part of the pregnancy will benefit the baby and mother.
3. How long should I expose my prenatal baby to music each day?
There is no specific requirement for optimal benefits. It should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience for the mother. The evening is our recommended time since, it’s at this time when the mother is winding down and is most relaxed.

Research has demonstrated that babies prefer music that is calming, serene, and soft such as classical and music inspired by nature. Studies have shown that rock music and jazz music may have some detrimental effects, but some folk music, lullabies and nature sounds are excellent. Babies love hearing the parents’ voices, especially the mother’s voice because it offers positive stimulation, bonding and communication. Volume Levels
There are many opinions and theories on the right volume for playing music for your baby. We know that amniotic fluid is a good conductor of sound but it also has been said that sound is muffled in the womb. What we recommend is not putting it any louder than you would like your self in a relaxed state of mind. Remember, one of the many important benefits of playing music for your baby is to calm and bond with him or her.
